MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD IN
THE WANSFORD COMMUNITY HALL ON MONDAY 26TH JANUARY 2016

3. | Peterborough Local Plan Consultation
a) The councillors accepted the general concept of the draft consultation. It was agreed that any expansion of development in accordance with the PCC proposals could be incorporated by infill development.
b) WPC would seek to obtain protection for the green areas in Nene Close and in the centre of the village north of the church.
c) WPC had no proposals to change the village boundaries. WPC draft response to be considered at next meeting, draft to be circulated. |

4. | Parish Council Insurance
Cllr John Stannage has obtained two quotes to cover both the Community Hall and the new play area including public liability:- Zurich quoted £547.71 for 5 years, Norriss and Fisher (Assvar insurance) quoted £816.88.
WPC agreed to accept Zurich offer. |

5. | Correspondence
The developers of the Little Chef Site have confirmed that the vehicular access for 20 Peterborough Road will be closed shortly for the period of the development for Health and Safety Reasons. |

6. | Reports from Councillors
Cllr John Stannage reported that the Salvation Army Royal British Legion were asking for the rent increase on the Christie Hall from £2000pa to £6000pa. |

I believe that this should be ‘extraordinary’
