  1. Minutes of meeting held on 16th April and 23rd April 2012: the minutes were approved and signed, all in favour.

  1. Matters arising from the Minutes:
  • Council website – plan is to put minutes and agenda’s onto the website in a manner whereby you can actually search for agenda’s etc.  In order to do this the website will need regular input of that data.  Will be putting current information on going forward first.  Suggestion that perhaps put a copy of Living Villages on at some stage.

  • Seat now delivered – PCC are not sure where pipes/cabling are but have suggested that we dig out rather than use a pick axe.  Need to have a plaque put on it during the course of the year, Cllr Clarke will look at costings for name plate “Diamond Jubilee”.

  • Banking signatory’s forms now completed – Cllr Stannage now a signatory.  It was suggested that perhaps we should look at feasibility of on line banking moving forward.

  • Special Projects – see below
  • Roundabout – pending
  • Village Map/Information Board – pending

  • Sign for the Community Hall – costings still to be obtained.
  • 30 mph signs for wheelie bins – Cllr Holdich reported signs have arrived, will arrange to deliver to Village Shop/Post office.
  • Landing Stage on River – Cllr Clarke still progressing.
  • Add Cycle Path to list.

  • Diamond Jubilee – advertised in Living Villages the events of the day.

  • Letter to Highways Agency – response received, it appears it is not just a case of speaking with one individual or department on the issues we have.  Some are with PCC, some with Highways Agency (Atkins) – Cllr Stevens still progressing.  Agenda item next meeting.

  • Quality Status – reinstatement – work still progressing.

  • Visit from Tree Warden – look at possible date mid/end of June.

  • Matters for consideration –
  • State of underpass – has been reported to PCC – chase up (copy in DL and JH)
