THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD IN THE WANSFORD COMMUNITY HALL ON MONDAY 14TH APRIL 2014 AT 7.30 P.M.

2 storey rear extension at 6 Old North Road, Wansford PE8 6LB – the Parish Council support comments by the Conservation Officer.
14/00544/CTR – Consultation on Conservation Area Trees Notification
Remove Poplar trees at 17 Old Leicester Road, Wansford PE8 6JR – will be guided by Tree Officer’s decision.
|Minutes of the meeting held on 10th March 2014: All in agreement for minutes to be signed.|
|Matters arising from the Minutes: 30mph signs for bins – Cllr Stannage will collect signs and hold supply.
20mph – use speedwatch initially to see what is happening with traffic speeds.
Speedwatch – Cllr Stannage to advise clerk of third person, clerk will then arrange for training.
Grit Bin Nene Close – review later in the year.
Footpath Nene Close (Handrail) – Parish Clerk to chase up to conclusion.
Street Light Doctors Surgery – awaiting response from Yarwell PC. Parish Clerk to keep in contact with Yarwell PC.
Flooding – Cllr Stannage will take photos of area which will be forwarded to PCC for clarification on re-inspection date of work carried out by Vtesse. Drain blocked on edge of Kings Cliffe Road.
Affordable Housing – letters have gone out, await response from consultation.
Elections – it is up to each individual councillor to ensure forms are delivered to PCC and to make sure forms are correctly completed. All forms to be at Town Hall before 4pm on 24th April.
|Finance: Invoice Parish Clerk – Salary March – £216.66
Invoice T&WPBGC – £2,000.00
All Councillors approved payments to be made.
|Leasing of Land – Nene Close: Advised draft lease being drawn up – Parish Clerk to keep chasing so that funding forms can be completed and submitted by end of April.||Parish Clerk|

|Matters for Consideration:Email from Alan Jones, Church Warden asked/advised:
a) Erecting war memorial for Centenary. Parish Council believe good way forward, Cllr Stannage will speak with Alan Jones.
b) New entrance built to the Church – footpath immediately outside of the driveway across the green to Old Leicester Road. Parish Clerk to ask Peter Tebbs from PCC to have a look at feasibility (also Pelican Crossing).
|Reports from Councillors: Cllr Clarke attended Parish Council Liaison meeting on 26th March. One presentation by the Police – rural policing strategy, delegated PCSO, increase in mobile patrols through villages. Lot of emphasis on the e-cops system, urging people to sign up and take note of what is in it. Funding no better as budget going, basic message “doing what we can”. Second presentation about emergency response plans for Peterborough City. Footpath gritting, insurance feasibility. Look at insurance to see what we are covered for. Cllr Clarke will write to people involved in discussion to see if anything further has been done.
Consultation between Architect and PCC re Little Chef. Architect pushing for more smaller properties.
Thornhaugh Liaison Committee meeting – Cllr Clarke will enquire when next meeting will take place – chaired by Augean.
Cllr Pearson attended T&WPCBGMC meeting – nothing further to report, everything in good shape.
