MINUTES OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD IN THE WANSFORD COMMUNITY HALL ON MONDAY 11TH JULY 2016
AT 7.30 P.M.

A MINUTES SILENCE WAS HELD IN MEMORY OF ROSIE MCDONNELL WHO RECENTLY PASSED AWAY.

14 Old North Road – concern from neighbour that work is being completed but has not been approved by Planning – Parish Clerk to enquire at what stage are we at!!
Pedestrian Crossing – when will this be working again? New pole has been put up, Parish Clerk to establish when work will be completed. |

3. | Planning:
16/01247/ADV – Display 1 internally illuminated totem sign and relocation of 1 wooden internally illuminated signage post at ArcHaus Peterborough Road Wansford Peterborough PE8 6JL – The Parish Council reject out of hand, further information is required, insufficient information (information received from residents at meeting this evening see below) – proposed Cllr Pearson, seconded Cllr Johnson, all in favour.
Mostly involving Ducati ..
Concern over disposal route of washings from motorcycle wash bay Hours of working Access to workshop route Compromising safe working of house building site Proposed additional pole sign not on recent planning application Concern of residents re light pollution after dark Timeline irregularity over new access being in use and Ducati opening for business
Complaint from Nene Close over the cutting back/ felling of trees, not sure if this is Archaus/ Ducati or Tallhouse.
Parish Clerk to request possible times/dates to meet on site with Planning, Enforcement and Parish Councillors.

4. | Minutes of the meeting held on 13th June 2016:
All Cllrs agreed that the above minutes were a true and accurate record and that Minutes should be signed. |

6. | Finance:
Wendy Gray – Salary July 2016 – £233.33 WPC Contribution to Garden Party £294.05 The above payments were approved. |

7. | WI Centenary Donation:
The quotations process is still going on |

8. | Speed Signs:
At a meeting at the Old Pump House Junction, Peter Tebb of PCC said that he was trying to aggregate a number of applications from various villages to streamline the process and reduce costs. Cllr Clarke to follow up and find out if we have to do anything further. |

9. | Christie Hall:
With the immediate lease issues sorted out there was a general consensus that the status of the Christie Hall needs to be resolved. In particular the level of betterment using grants etc should be recognised. Would it be possible to raise the money to buy the site? If so who would be the purchaser? All councillors to think about a way forward to discuss at the next meeting. |

10. | Correspondence:
a) Confirmed that the noise complaint south of the bridge was a private party b) PCC are aware of the damage to the south end of the bridge c) The picnic area toilets – Try to set up a meeting with Highways England and the police to discuss the way forward. It would be good to include the Safer Peterborough Partnership in the discussion and then possibly the Crime Commissioner.

11. | Matters for Consideration:
Matters for Consideration – The first site list for the local Development plan has been published. There is an application to include 1.55Ha of Seeds Field adjacent to the Robins Field properties. Wansford would also be affected by the very large (5000 house) development to the north of Castor. Councillors will try to find the strategic planners attitude to these two schemes.
