Occupiers from Nene Close expressed dismay that so many trees have been either totally removed or heavily trimmed, as these screen the Close from A1 traffic noise, and that near neighbours had not been made aware of the Ducati Workshop and the noise that may be associated with this. WPC agreed to make enquiries.

|2.||Declarations of Interest: None|

|7.||WI Centenary Donation:
Pending – WPC is continuing to seek quotations for a hand rail and lighting.
|8.||Toddlers Play Area:
The opening of the Toddlers play area on Easter Saturday was a great success. Thanks go to Nene Valley Tots and Cllr Stannage for all their hard work in bringing to a successful conclusion. It is accepted that some harder surfacing may be needed at the entrance at some time in the future.
Vehicular Access is an issue – it was suggested that “Please do not use Nene Close entrance” signs for parking be conveniently placed as parking is very restricted even for residents. Visitors to be guided to park in Peterborough Road and use the footpath access from the western end.
Fencing etc still to be removed by contractor – Parish Clerk to contact requesting this is collected before end of April (or we will dispose of).
|9.||Village Notice Board:
A New village notice board with a map of the village and surroundings points of interest will shortly be erected opposite the Church. Anticipated delivery by end of week commencing 18th April and installation as soon as possible after delivery.
